Tamara West

Tamara West is Senior Research Fellow at the University of Liverpool, UK and Project Lead on the AHRC-DCMS funded Cultural Heritage, People and Place Project, which seeks to co-develop a holistic approach for capturing and articulating the value(s) of culture and heritage. She is also Co-Investigator on the AHRC-DFG funded project Romani Migration between Germany and Britain (1880s-1914): Spaces of Informal Business, Media Spectacle, and Racial Policing. where she focuses on mapping and visualising a historical migration, and which carries forward work originally undertaken on the HERA funded BESTROM project.  Tamara was also  Project Lead on the ESRC funded networking grant  Transnational Memory Practices in the UK and South Korea: Ethics, Evaluation and Learning in Digital Exhibitions which explored ways in which digital exhibitions and associated materials might address complex memory practices.
